Back in November 2009 I worked on a series of reports revisiting the 1993 child murders in Robin Hood Hills - a wooded area in West Memphis, AR. Three teens, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, Jr. were convicted and sentenced to death, life without parole, and life plus 40, respectively. The West Memphis Three have been appealing their convictions for the past 16+ years. These three reports focus on the case and where the three are in terms of the appeal process. The series was awarded two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards in 2010 - one for News Series and another for Use of Video.
